From Impro Shack Players:

Impro with Peter was honestly such a highlight in my week, I'm glad I took the plunge to try out something new. Apart from the fact that every session was absolutely hilarious, it genuinely gave me the confidence, skills and ability to just 𝘨𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘵.

The sessions are well structured, relaxing and most importantly, very very fun!! The Impro Shack, for me, is a great reminder of how play and playing is not only great, but really important for well-being.

The Impro Shack is so fun and welcoming. No matter what experience you have, everyone is free to try things out and most of all - have a laugh! Relaxed and actually funny!
Alex, Impro Shack Player
As an improv newbie, Peter put me at ease when I joined the group. I really enjoyed the range of improv games we played - I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard!
Joe, Impro Shack Player
What can I say about The Impro Shack? Well it definitely has improvisation at its heart. It is a very welcoming and inclusive environment that is always fun and engaging. And what a interesting group of little characters I've met there.
discover the whimsy in you
Come along for 2 hours of ridiculous Impro games, played in a wonderfully supportive environment where you're encouraged to be silly and make mistakes! Grow your confidence and make new friends, as you take to the stage and perform some unscripted scenes for your fellow improvisers (who'll be cheering you on the whole way!).

Grow Your Confidence

Make New Friends

Have some fun!
Taking the stage without a script is an incredibly brave activity, and the first time you do it, you'll be terrified. But as you push through your fear again and again, you'll notice it slowly diminishing, and your confidence slowly growing! Not just with us, but in your everyday life!
Friendships grow in Impro like mould grows on expired bread - it simply cannot be helped. A group of people that laugh together, inspire each other, build off of one-another's ideas, and cheer each other on are bound to form meaningful bonds. (A post-session pub visit doesn't hurt either!)
FUN! To pretend that a stick is a shining sword, that your chair is a raft floating above lava, or that your water bottle actually contains an entire mini civilisation! As people get older, they lose touch with this whimsical side of themselves, and we aim to change that. Delight your inner child with the gift of Impro.
